Once a furniture factory, Winter Street Studios is now the home of 77 art studios. In 2005, it received the first Art Studio Ordinance granted in Houston, and since then, it has laid the groundwork for Houston’s thriving arts community.

Movies are screened on the old Success Rice grain silos at Sawyer Yards, an art collective with restaurants Local Pho, Poitin Bar & Kitchen and Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co.
