There are several awesome beef noodle places in Taipei. Some argue that this is the best. We think it's one of the best!

More than 40 years ago, YONG-KANG BEEF NOODLE was originated from a beef noodle stall near Yongkang Park to this nice restaurant till today. With genuine Sichuan noodle dishes and various pickles side dishes passed from generation to generation, YONG-KANG BEEF NOODLE has always been the No. 1 choice for many gourmets and loyal customers.

Not to be confused with Yong Kang Sliced Beef lol. Try to go for early/late lunch or early dinner to avoid a line. A large bowl is huge, you can probably split that between two people and be ok with the portion, especially if you'll walk down the street for some chong zhua bing (see next item). The spare rib rice is just ok to me but that's personal reference. I get the spicy all-meat option (personally not a fan of tendon) but their tendon is actually pretty tender..
