If you want to go for Japanese food that is a little fancier, Hapa is a great choice - it's also a little pricier. Hip environment and really cool decor.

This is the place to go for Japanese food and amazing sushi. Order the triple cold sake that's served in a bamboo jug.

Sushi is so popular in Van., and Hapa Izakaya is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Van. at a decent price. Hapa got a variety of Japanese cuisines, you won't be disappointed. (4mins walking)

A must for sushi lovers! All their sashimi are spectacular. One of my fav places for chicken karage. Happy hour 4 to 6!
