Palmer is a charming little town with loads of character! The historic homes and buildings are nostalgic. The Palmer Water Tower is somewhat of an icon in Palmer. If you enjoy history, I encourage you to take a peek at the Palmer Chamber of Commerce web page before touring our small town. In addition, we have some fun historical fiction books depicting the early settlement in Palmer located in the guest house, as well as other Alaskan books.

Get to know about the Mat-Su Valley and how it was established in part due to the "New Deal" After the depression. Folks from Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin were brought up to help farm the fertile land.
