Tussen Blankenberge en De Haan en de rustige polderdorpjes Zuienkerke en Nieuwmunster, ligt een eeuwenoud weidelandschap, de Uitkerkse Polder. Dit open landschap zonder bomen of hagen is dé plek om te wandelen: een oase van rust langs de drukke kustlijn. In de Uitkerkse Polder overwinteren jaarlijks ook duizenden vriezeganzen.
