If you're downtown I definitely recommend stopping by Yaoichi for groceries. Best selection in the downtown area for meats, vegetables, and foodstuffs and on the 2f, they have a great selection for international brands and good snacks, decent cheeses. Highly recommended if you're looking for that something something to cook. It's on Higashinotoin, just north of Rokkaku on the east side.
