Kufstein Fortress dominates the landscape as much today, as it did centuries ago. Being Kufstein’s most famous sight, the fortress towers high above town and is definitely worth visiting. Especially in the warmer months, Kufstein Fortress serves as extraordinary venue for a variety of events, including the annual Operetta Summer. The Fortress can be accessed by a spectacular panorama gondola. Attractions include the world’s largest outdoor organ and the interactive Fortress Museum.
