Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

The property is located within the secure Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate where animals roam freely.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. Ndoto Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, self catering holiday house situated on the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Unlimited WiFi is available and guests can watch Netflix or access the DSTV now app on the smart TV. A fully Equipped, self catering kitchen is available An enclosed garden with a splash pool is available for your exclusive use. Sip sundowners on the outside patio set while the fire gets ready for a braai! Orpen Gate and Kruger National Park is a 40 minute drive away.

You’ll be woken by franklin and purple crested louries coming to feed at first light, followed by a cacophony of Lowveld birds including resident fish eagles. Walk down to the river, and enjoy sundowners and snacks on the rocks with spectacular sunset views to the Drakensburg mountains in the distance.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night.

"My Side of the Mountain" is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, as mongoose, bushbabies, and antelope frequently wander through the area. A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.
