The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Fish for bass and bream, stroll the walking path, paddle around and enjoy the wildlife, or just relax far from the madding crowd. This slice of paradise sits on 12 acres; our home is across the lake, out of sight and out of mind.

Beautiful serene 2015 home within one mile of the Ichetucknee State Park! Wooded neighborhood is great for walking and river views. Tastefully decorated, Cypress floors and large tub overlooking private yard. Large screened porch and well appointed open kitchen perfect for cooking. The house is elevated which creates a separate covered outdoor area with custom bar, hammocks, and a full second bathroom. Perfect cozy space for a couples retreat! For some reason Airbnb has us listed on Redwater lake, however, we are on our own private lake next to it. Our cottage is set on a gorgeous spring fed private lake in the woods. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic getaway or fun with your kids, this is the place to be! Kayak around the lake and watch the gorgeous sunsets, take a dip in the cool water, sit around a fire and gaze at the many stars in the sky, or simply just relax in the beautiful surroundings. ☀️
