Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.

Trapper Creek Chalet ~ Nestled in the Woods

This secluded 1,280 sq. ft. (119 sq. m) home is nestled within 3 acres (1.2 ha) of spruce and birch forest. Its proximity to Denali State Park, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, the historic Petersville Mining District, and backcountry hiking and ATV trails make this the ideal place to enjoy your real Alaskan adventure. A short 130 mi (209 km) drive makes the chalet an easy half-way rest stop when visiting Denali National Park from Anchorage. Unplug, unwind and enjoy Alaska!

You are just one block from the Spur Road and bike path, and ten minutes from downtown Talkeetna.

The cabin will be warm when you arrive. Stereo with bluetooth. Pets are welcome I have worked hard to create a place that I would want to stay in. I hope you enjoy it!
