Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

The cottage happily sleeps four but is perfect as a luxurious retreat for two. Location is amazing - Just a few minutes walk from the Market Hill, the Thoroughfare and glorious River Deben. Whether you want to relax by the woodburner whilst soaking up the views, take long walks whilst enjoying the wildlife, cycle,canoe or fish, Wortwell is the perfect location being on the South Norfolk/Suffolk border. We provide fresh ground coffee from Strangers coffee house.
