Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. You will need to have your own transport when staying with us as public transport is almost non-existent with only 2 buses a day. We have offroad parking. There are a lot of activities available to you including walking tracks, surfing, cycling & beautiful parks to explore.

There is plenty of free street parking as well as a single car parking space next to the airbnb (for small cars only).
