Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

Southburn Bothies

Located in the heart of Lanarkshire, right on the Clyde Valley, our luxury glamping pod is situated on our working family farm. With all the home comforts you need, surrounded by stunning views of the farm, it is the ideal place to escape for a peaceful weekend away. Our Glamping Pod sleeps 2 adults and 1 child, with a double bed and fold down sofa bed. All bed linen and towels are provided. Fire Pit bundle of logs, kindling and firelighters available. It's around 18 miles from Glasgow and on the A71, which connects to Edinburgh.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
