The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Wren's nest

Wrens nest is a cozy one-room cottage with an open plan design that combines charm with functionality. The main room features a simple layout where the bed, sofa and kitchen area share the same space. The comfortable oak framed bed has neutral linens and bedside tables with reading lamps. The two seater sofa has small foldable tables for dining. The kitchen occupies one wall with simple cabinets, two burner hob, fridge, microwave and small air fryer. The shower room has wc & sink with storage.

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

The Croft Snug

Escape off grid to this secluded self contained large studio room deep in the countryside in Galloway . The accommodation is an annex of our own home and has its own private entrance and en-suite bathroom complete with shower and bath, in a studio format. We are situated on a small holding far from the maddening crowds and under the Galloway dark sky where on a clear night you can see the milky way and an array of stars . We welcome well behaved dogs however they should not be left alone .

The luxury caravan sleeps four in a quiet corner on Wig Bay Holiday Park.  The Park has a bar and restaurant (off-peak restaurant open Fri-Sun) with magnificent views over Loch Ryan. It is four miles from Stranraer's ferry town and offers the most wonderful unspoilt countryside on the Rhins of Galloway peninsula. Places to visit include Portpatrick's fishing village, a botanical garden and sandy beaches.

The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.
