The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Hrakhólar is a summerhouse (25M2) in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. There is also a private hot tub Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

Friendly Farmhouse Víðidalsá, room 30

A friendly old farmhouse built in 1926, that has been renovated. There are no animals anymore except Loppa the dog, but a horse rental is only a 2 minutes walk. A peaceful surrounding with a crystal clear salmon river (a fishing license needed) right by the house. Located in the countryside only a 3-4 minutes drive from Hólmavík village, which has an excellent geothermal pool, a supermarket, a couple of good restaurants and the interesting Museum of Sorcery and Witchcraft HG-2437

Glaðheimar Guesthouse

Glaðheimar is located in Króksfjarðarnes a perfect location before exploring Westfjords. Back in the day Glaðheimar was an Old post office and just across the rode was the main store for farmers and people in the area which has now a Handcraft marked. The house has three bedrooms and a living room, a bathroom with shower and well equipped kitchen with dining area. The house is a family summerhouse, but was originally built by our grandfather and grandmother, who lived there for most of their lives.
