We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.

Nearby hiking trails at Lacawac Sanctuary, Schumans point and Varden conservation . Horseback riding at Why-Not riding stable. Antique shops and boutiques in historic Hawley and Honesdale. Under 30 miles to Montage Mountain Resorts, Elk Mountain, Ski Big Bear and Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. Full bath on 1st floor.

The Thoroughbred Cottage is the quintessential, early 1900s Pocono vacation cottage. Located on our commercial horse farm, the cottage has been entirely renovated but has kept its unique original details. Views include our upper pastures and wooded hillside of the state game lands beyond. The cottage is set back on our private lane, but is close to all major Pocono attractions and wedding venues. Secluded Suite outside of town.

A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
