Each cottage has a built-in King bed with memory foam mattress, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glasses, and cutlery, and even a small refrigerator. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space as a fisherman's base camp or family retreat. A new cabin nestled in a wooded meadow 600 yards from beautiful Lake Guntersville. 2 minutes to a public boat ramp and 4 minutes to Sunrise Marina with a large ramp, parking, fuel, services, etc. A spacious living/dining/kitchen area, a full bath, 2 queen and one twin roll out bed plus a large sofa. Full size appliances, air conditioning, large front deck, gas BBQ grill, and a large 40' driveway.

Lake Shore Cabin-sleeps 6

I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Nivendale Cabin - at Riverview Campground

Our new hand crafted Nivendale cabin uses cedar, poplar, oak, pine and driftwood harvested from our 150+ acre lakefront property. The unique rustic mock treehouse design has a large raised deck with an outdoor tree trunk window seat. Set among massive shady trees, it is beautifully furnished. Guests can enjoy our large adjacent campground shoreline with a swimming pier, and boat launch and canoe use at no charge. Recently featured in our local paper, there is no cabin quite like this.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Located about 35 minutes from Huntsville, AL, 7 minutes from Cathedral Caverns State Park, and 30 minutes from Lake Guntersville. Although it is located in a rural area, you still have quick access to fun adventures. The spacious open kitchen to living room will allow your family the room for game nights, movie marathons, and delicious dinners.
