There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

Lakefront home near Uwharrie Forest

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. The Asheboro Zoo is a beautiful drive less than an hour away. Take the time to read the guest review below who says it all! Transport yourself back to a more peaceful era in this retro brick ranch on a wooded lot! Two large bedrooms share a hall bath. *Bathroom just renovated in 2025.* Period furniture was made in NC for that local touch. Mamaw’s kitchen has been stocked so you can do takeout or make a meal. Drink your coffee on the side porch looking out over the peaceful yard. Parking is a breeze since you have a two-car carport and driveway too. :) No smoking property, pets must be pre-approved

Create memories year after year at this quaint bungalow with deep water & a dock! Floaties & kayaks provided, nature preserve in the cove, fire pit, WFH setup & the best sunsets! This property is unique as it’s in Jacob’s Creek cove on LKT where boat and jet ski traffic is little to none. The cove also has a nature preserve where you’ll see wood ducks fly in, blue herons raise their chicks each year, ospreys hunt in the evening and you can kayak to see beavers!

Relax and unwind at our waterfront cottage on Lake Tillery with a stunning view. • Enjoy swimming and a boat house right in the front yard. Nestled on top of Woodsong, a 15-acre Nature Reserve. Started 25 years ago to protect the native plants and wildlife in our area. A cozy stay for couples and adults to relax and reconnect in nature. The studio apartment is fully equipped to give you a vacation feel. Grill out under the hanging nite lights. Unwind at the fire pit. Cuddle up with epic sunsets! Stargaze!
