You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Come enjoy our modern pole barn cabin, 600 sq ft, 2BR, 1BA, loft area, furnished with W/D, big flat screen TV with wifi, coffee bar, Blackstone, memory foam mattresses. There is an association dock area which will require a waiver for a dock on the lake with kayaks. Come enjoy the water or visit nearby Shawnee Wine Trail, Ferne Clyffe State Park, hunting, fishing and much more. Located 6.5 miles off I-24 Exit 7. 3 guests

Starlink wifi now available! 2 bed/1 bath cabin with loft is located off the beaten path. Sits on 40 acres with 2 other rentals. Cabin is closest to the pond with a sand beach and a concrete pad with lounge chairs . 1 king bed, 1 queen bedroom, and a loft with a queen bed and a twin. Full bath with tile step in shower. Fully functional kitchen with all pots, pans, dishes, spices, utensils, etc. Outside you have a wrap around porch, charcoal grill and fire pit with swing away cooking grate.

Shady Rest “on blue pond” with hot tub

The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. No matter what the season, Shady Rest “on blue pond” is sure to create an unforgettable experience. Property not suited for small children due to deep pond next to the Airbnb. No pets allowed

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.
