Gorse Cottage, New Forest

It would be hard to find a more perfect location than Gorse Cottage. The cottage is on a country lane with no houses in front or behind. Our front garden looks out directly on to the New Forest and a secluded back garden overlooks fields where horses graze. Ponies, donkeys, pigs and deer are often to be seen outside the front gate. The cottage is situated a mile from the popular village of Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest, where the main line station connects London and Bournemouth. The cottage has been fully refurnished with state of the art equipment such as a flat screen TV, range cooker, new bathrooms. There is a new kitchen, new furniture, new bedding and linen. We have built upstairs where there are two bedrooms and an en-suite. The cottage now comprises 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms a large living room and an impressive conservatory. The ancient New Forest landscape, where ponies, cattle and even pigs are free to roam is a lovely spot for walking, cycling and anyone who wants to enjoy the countryside, yet offering all the amenities of a holiday area. It is within easy reach of the coast and sailing facilities at Lymington. Southampton and Bournemouth are nearby and the beautiful Dorset coastline is within easy reach. Riding stables and bike hire shops are available in the area. We have a lockable bicycle shed if you want to bring your own bikes with you. The Balmer Lawn Hotel, only 400 metres away, offers an indoor and outdoor (heated) swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, squash courts and tennis court. It’s a house for all seasons. We have the conservatory for the summer, beautiful forest walks in the Autumn, a cosy cottage and peace and quiet for the winter and the colourful Exbury Gardens nearby for the Spring. Guests regularly return, often every year. We hope that this is testimony to the quality of the accommodation and effort made to maintain high standards. We have extremely modern facilities and offer WiFi internet access. There are excellent facilities for families with children and babies. Full central heating and hot water is available when required at no extra cost. All linen and towels are supplied.

Hawthorns Cottage, in the heart of the New Forest.

Hawthorns Cottage is located down a quiet path in the pretty village of Pikes Hill, on the edge of Lyndhurst. The cosy cottage has been recently renovated, and has lovely light rooms with plenty of period features. It's in a quiet location, with easy access to the amazing New Forest countryside, as well as being close to the amenities in Lyndhurst - including pubs, tea rooms, gift shops, restaurants, takeaways, bus tours and the New Forest visitor centre. A really great location for a holiday.

The open forest is also a short distance from the cottage and leads to endless walks, cycle rides and heaps of exploring!

This self contained guesthouse is perfect for escapes to the New Forest. Situated in the New Forest National Park 'Forest’s Edge' is great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Our guesthouse is very comfortable with a sofa, arm chair, king size bed, bunk bed & trundle in one room. There is a separate kitchen & separate shower room with toilet & basin. The garden is huge with lots of seating. We welcome dogs & we are close to Peppa Pig (Paultons Park) and the beach. Cats not allowed.

New Forest cottage. Very close to Paulton’s Park.

Our delightful cottage provides the best of old world charm and modern convenience. It is a pretty 17th Century thatched cottage in a small village, furnished to a high standard with a lovely mature garden. We have a well equipped kitchen and cater for young children with 2 high chairs, travel cots & toys. Located in the New Forest National Park and not far to the coast, Paultons Park & other attractions. My place is good for couples, families with children and small groups.

Beautiful Luxury Cottage in the New Forest

Rose Cottage is set within the grounds of a private estate. The New Forest National Park where the animals roam freely, is just outside of our gate. Enjoy watching deer, rabbits, birds, and an abundance of other forest wildlife visit the grounds. You will also notice that the New Forest ponies, donkeys, and pigs are regular visitors. This self-catering Luxury Cottage has all the comfort needed to enjoy a fantastic holiday within the New Forest National Park.

Bramblings, New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.

Once the village brewery, our beautiful centrally heated cottage is the perfect base to explore the New Forest and the Solent. If you fancy a day at home you can just laze in the garden. Like to cook? The kitchen has everything you'll need. And the cosy living room has a log stove for those chilly autumn evenings. It's just four miles to Romsey for a choice of supermarkets and shops. And we're on site to sort out any problems.
