This is one of four, two bedroom cottages located on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. These cottages are next to each other.Our electricity is provided by our grid tied solar array. We are a five minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, the Damariscotta River, and John's Bay. South Bristol is a small town 14 miles from Damariscotta,where the closest grocery store is located. We are a working fishing village, and lobsters and fresh fish are readily available at the local lobster pounds.

Great location as it is on a dead end road that is just minutes to shopping, restaurants, etc. Incredible spot to watch the boats come and go as Sawyer park boat launch as well as the town boat launch are right in view.

Charming 1BR + Loft, 1BA cottage situated among an acre of Ocean Point fir trees providing privacy and a quiet get away. Less than 100yd walk to the shore, beach and path at Grimes Cove, Ocean Point Inn Restaurant & Bar, and daily activities at the community "casino" building with playground, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and Sunday softball. Harbor is 20 mins away for exploring.

Take a stroll down to the Pier where you can experience the water up close.

Spruce Tops is a single family cottage, situated near the mouth of New Harbor. You can hear the ocean waves and the bell buoy. Enjoy your coffee on the screened in porch watching the boats coming and going. A well equipped kitchen has an island eating area, the comfy living room has a ceiling fan, as does the master bedroom, with a queen bed and french doors to the fully screened in porch. Bathroom equipped with shower. Owners located across street if needed.

Open the French doors from the living room and step out onto the spacious front porch to watch the sun set across Wiscasset Harbor. Our cottage has been recently updated with fresh paint, new towels and new coastal interior decor.

Our cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). We are located on a private road and offer use of community dock. Perfect area for kayaking and exploring or just relaxing and enjoying the ocean view.
