The apartment is located in a two-story house on Sommarøya. My family and I live upstairs, while the apartment is downstairs. It’s just a 3-minute walk from the stunning white coral beaches — beautiful during the day and a perfect spot for watching the Northern Lights at night. Although the apartment itself doesn’t have a view, the surrounding area offers plenty to enjoy. You can spend your time hiking, fishing, kayaking, or simply taking in the enchanting Arctic landscapes of Northern Norway.

Fantastisk utsikt og ett rolig området der man kan nyte idylliske fjell og naturomgivelser. Nordlys sesongen er fra September til April. Er det klarvær vil det danse på himmelen direkte fra stuevinduet. Mange unike turmål til fots og ved båt som verten kan informere om ved behov og har kart tilgjengelig i huset.

Spectacular new build house (2018) in a lovely, quiet area with a beautiful view to the fjord/sea, mountains and forest in Kvaløya /Tromsø. Koselig gammel hus - Grandmas – Oldstyre house. Kraknes på Kvaløya. 16 km fra Tromsø sentrum. Her kan du nyte flott natur både sommer og vinter. Utsikt mot magiske fjell og innseiling til Tromsø by. Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.
