Accord River House

Welcome to our house in the woods! 12 acres surrounded by trees and above a series of waterfalls along the Stony Kill, which runs all the way from Minnewaska State Park through our property and into downtown Accord. You can sit in a hammock outside, soak in our hot tub while listening to the river, or chill out inside with some tunes or the TV projector. Budding entomologists will enjoy the endless procession of bugs, ants, spiders, ticks, and other creepy-crawlies that is part of River House.

The 1772 Lefevre Stonehouse Suite

Sit at a quaint breakfast table in this sun-filled room admiring the beautiful patio, grainy wood-plank floors, and a country decor touches. Walk outside to enjoy the free ranging chickens as you gaze at the rustic grounds of this enchanting stone-built home dating from 1772. The suite has its our private entrance, bathroom and fireplace all stocked with plenty of firewood for your stay. Fireplace can be used November-March only unless temperatures are under 40 degrees.

Relax, reset and experience the best of the Hudson Valley from this 2 bedroom guest suite. Watch skydivers overhead while you enjoy a beverage outside. Take a short drive to Minnewaska State Park or Mohonk Preserve for climbing, hiking and biking. Enjoy a walk or bike ride along the 22 mile Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. We are 15 minutes away from New Paltz, NY, and mere minutes away from the Shawngunk Mountains in the bucolic Hudson Valley.

The kitchen is fully equipped and fresh produce is available from the neighboring organic farm in season. Good hiking trails are accessible from the house.
