Hegranes guesthouse on a farm

We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

The mirrored vacation home is surrounded by untouched nature, is located directly by the sea and offers a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. Rustic Cabin is a micro apartment connected to our farmhouse. The kitchen and living-room are in the same space where you have two beds, a sleeping sofa and a wonderful view of the sunset or the northern lights - if you're lucky. And then there is a nice private bathroom. Steinnes is a farm located in picturesque Icelandic scenery with a beautiful view of mountains and the river running by. It lies 15 minutes (by car) south of Blönduós and 2 km from the main road.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.
