The cottage boasts a through lounge and dining area, which consists of a sofa bed and a four-seat dining table, and cosy log fire. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with a wetroom ensuite. There is also a kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and a washing machine. There is a lovely village pub just a 2 min walk away and some beautiful countryside walks. No pets

It enjoys a tranquil, rural setting where guests can enjoy watching and listening to a variety of wildlife and farming activities. Located in a small village with beautiful countryside views, this spacious, 150 year old character cottage is self-contained with a garden to the front and a courtyard to the rear. It has two bedrooms, a newly refurbished bathroom, beamed living room and spacious kitchen diner. The cottage is 7 miles north of Melton Mowbray on the Notts / Leics border. Originally converted from a barn in the 1850s, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard but still retains many original features.

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)
