The house has been substantially restored and renovated with natural materials and great care in order to offer amenities for absolute comfort both in summer and winter time, while retaining all its traditional architectural and decorative elements, typical of the region.

At a unique mountainous landscape of Crete Arodamos provides to the guests the opportunity to explore and enjoy nature, relax by the pool at an altitude of 1050 meters with a stunning view of the highest mountain of Crete, Mount Idi and participate in agricultural activities, such as the traditional threshing with the donkey, collecting eggs, milking goats and sheep, making cheese and bread, or enjoy a ride with a bicycle around the plateau. Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

Everything has been designed with great attention to detail. Information about the climate tax: In the case of Little Pearl, it is 8.00 euros per night.

Built into a sun-warmed hillside in southern Crete, our main house was the one we designed for ourselves — and it shows. Open-plan living with floor-to-ceiling windows, mountain views to the north, and sunsets over the Mediterranean to the west. Relaxing in the living room, you can see the ancient Minoan palace of Phaistos across the Messara Valley. It's the kind of place where you sit down with your coffee and an hour disappears.
