The original flora, as well as its diverse fauna, includes unique species such as the royal-eagle, the barn owl and the fox. Sheltered from the north winds, this place has its own special micro-climate which makes it an oasis of nature, where the visitor is led to align with the energy of the earth. The place is situated half way down the hill from ancient and extint volcanic chimneys, where one can find basaltic outcrops e limestone areas. There is also archaeological evidence at the site which indicates it was inhabited during the Neolithic, Calco Lithic and the Bronze Age. Conceived as a place for resting, where the visitor has the opportunity to live an experience different from the usual routine, we provide comfortable accomodation as well as a healthy diet. To occupy their leisure time, the guests may choose from a variety of playshops, sighstseeing walks and several other activities.

Is set in the heart of picturesque village of Penedo * This suite is independent of our house, what allows to our guests have more privacy * In 2024 we decided to renovate and improve the interior space and also do a completely make over of all the house exterior spaces. Quinta na Esquina used to be a vacation home and then an event center for many years. Today it is our family's home. In addition to renovating the home, we've spent the past few years slowly but surely converting the land to a productive family farm. We are a quick ten minute drive to the historic center of Sintra and about a fifteen minute drive to popular beaches such Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs, and Praia do Magoito.
