American shutters allow you to block our early morning light if you want to sleep in! Seaside cottage is situated on Wilderness main beach. The cottage has no sea views from the bedrooms but only from the balcony upstairs. Beautiful sea views from the comman area on the grass. Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.

Wilderness Cottage

The cottage is decorated with an African theme in mind. It’s in a residential area, attached to the main house, but is private and has it’s own entrance. Our property overlooks the Nature Reserve. The view is spectacular and one can hear the Fish Eagle’s call from the cliffs above. Often we get a visit from a bush buck at the fence as well as the shy Knysna Loerie. We are a family of four and welcome guests to come and experience this tranquil space!

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

As you enter the space, you will feel the outside world melt away. You won't see another person, structure, or anything else but nature, making it the perfect place to detach, relax and recharge.

Laughing Loerie Cottage

Delightful loadshedding-proof little hide-away beneath the Melkhout trees, in the heart of Wilderness. Close to the Touws river and 15 minutes scenic walk along the Kingfisher hiking trial to the village. You might be lucky enough to spot a Knysna Loerie (Turaco).
