The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.

The Rookery

After much research, I think this cottage was likely built somewhere in the 1500's. It has quirky uneven walls, VERY LOW BEAMS (TAKE CARE) upstairs made from sailing ships that travelled the world. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with small fridge, microwave, air fryer, sink, kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture as the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

Right in the heart of Alston Town in the North Pennines, our cottage is tucked away from the main market square along a cobbled lane. Ideal for walkers and cyclists doing the Coast to Coast route. Quiet village away from all the hustle & bustle of daily life. Great pubs and eating places near by. .

Haymakers Barn, Great Salkeld (Eden Valley)

Set in the tranquil Eden Valley close to the Lake District National Park, Great Salkeld is a a pretty little village retaining much of its traditional charm. The Barn is a wonderful place to stay and provides all the luxuries and home comforts from a modern renovation. The stylish decor and furnishings provide a comfortable, airy and homely atmosphere whilst retaining the original character.

Skiddaw Mire House

Skiddaw is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes Glamping to a new level. Head outside to the private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or a soak in the hot tub reading a good book.
