Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys.
