In the 1700s Queen Anne of the Netherlands gifted a parcel of land to her Dutch subjects, the Schoonemakers. The family built a stone cottage, from which they cultivated acres of orchards in the Hudson Valley. Today, you can stay in this 275-year old stone cottage and enjoy its modern kitchen, European bath, wide-plank pine floors and sun lit bedrooms. Cozy yet sleeps 4 -6 good friends or family comfortably- because there are several different cool areas to hang out & relax. There is a semi private bedroom ( shoji screen walls so not sound or light proof) a pull out Queen size bed in the living room and a full size bed in the sleeping loft.
