It's surrounded on three sides by 35 acres of a forever wild nature preserve which is part of the New York State’s “5 Rivers”. You can hike, cross country ski or snow shoe right out the back door or just sit quietly and enjoy your favorite book along side nature.... and only 2 miles from the Albany border.

Misty Isle Acres

Our homestead, Misty Isle Acres, is our little imperfect oasis, nestled within the beautiful Helderberg hilltowns of Albany county. Our in-law apartment contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with TV (inc. Netflix & Disney+), DVD player, and futon. There is an enclosed porch and deck, complete with tables, chairs, and grill. We also have a large pond and woods to explore. Please note, this is a working homestead; the grass isn't always mowed and sometimes there are animal smells.

A great stopping place for enjoying all that the Saratoga, Lake George and beautiful Washington County areas offer. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the views, the high ceilings, gas fireplace and the location. Enjoy grilling on the deck overlooking the Hudson River. This is a quiet country setting yet only a scenic 20 minute drive to either Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls.
