Crovie sits at the bottom of a cliff on the Moray Firth coast, and is one of the best preserved fishing villages in Scotland. No.30 sits midway along the village overlooking the pier and the sea. Crovie Cottage, Crovie , Aberdeenshire

The cottage looks like a traditional fisherman's cottage, painted white with red shutters and a red door, but walk through the heavy wooden door and you enter a modern, white interior full of light and surprisingly spacious. The cottage sits right on the margin of the North Sea with only a sea wall and its Bankhead above the stoney beach. The space is open plan as are the sleeping spaces upstairs . It's a peaceful comfortable place to be .
