This peaceful property is minutes from the Hawthorne Valley Farm store, 20 minutes to the world-class food and vintage mecca of Hudson, and 30 minutes from the culture and history of Tanglewood, Jacobs PIllow and the Berkshires. For recreation there is hiking in the valley and nearby conservancy areas, biking on country roads, or cross-country, downhill or snowshoeing during the snowy months. Hawthorne is a 2-hour drive from NYC or a 2-hour Amtrak ride from Penn Station to Hudson, and then a 20 minute drive by car or taxi. The house is conveniently close to the Taconic Parkway, while set in a peaceful and quiet valley.

Enjoy our Mountain getaway for year round fun! There are lots of activities close by-Mohawk Ski Mountain, Indian Lake and historic Covered Bridges! We have 4 comfortable bedrooms plus daybed room and 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped Chefs Kitchen. The living room is great for lounging and perfect a movie night watched on the projector

The Farmhouse

Enjoy staying at our charming Farmhouse in the heart of our working dairy farm. Our farm sits on some of the most beautiful hills in Cornwall with the famous Gateway to Cornwall view where you can see our dairy cows grazing in the grandeur of nature. Come say hello to the cows in the barn during milking or watch the herd cross the road evoking sites you might expect to see in small European farming villages. You'll likely see us on our tractors bringing hay and water to our cows!
