Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

The Cabin

The Cabin is a cozy 2 bed, 2 bath duplex, centrally located in Salem, MO. Close to all the essentials in town. Salem is known as the Gateway to the Ozark River ways. With such a great location, traveling is no fuss as our duplexes are short drives from the Current River (15 mi), Montauk State Park, Maramec Spring Park, Echo Bluff, Flat Nasty, Fugitive Beach. So go floating, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, UTV/ATVing, hunting or rest and relax! There's plenty to do here naturally!

An Ozark Oasis in the middle of a working cattle ranch, this custom designed home offers deluxe comfort. With multiple decks, porches and views out every window, this home is the perfect getaway for romantic retreats, family and friends to relax and make memories, artists and writers to host workshops or retreats, or even the single person to just get away from it all.
