The location is rural so you will need a vehicle or a local bus service is 1 mile away. The Local pub The Fountain Inn is the nearest pub opening from Thursday-Sunday and is a 20/30 minute walk away. We are Ideally situated on the Welsh border ideal for walkers, cyclists or a relaxing stay. Ideally situated for the ever popular Oldfield Forge.

Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

The Haystore has been fully refurbished to provide gorgeous accommodation with direct access onto National Trust parkland and the Wye Valley AONB. Within walking distance is a farm shop, and a little further two award winning pubs. Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and the Black Mountains are a short drive making us an ideal base to explore the wider area.
