Food Scene

Thali is traditional Indian food, unlike the vast majority of Indian and Pakistani cuisine served in the UK. Definitely recommend trying this!

Drinks & Nightlife

It's a pub, not a bar. (Why does AirBNB not allow us to use the national word for a fine drinking establishment: pub!) This has a rock and roll jukebox and a great set of three pool tables towards the back. There's also a nice beer garden at the rear. You can even play darts here still!

Sightseeing

It's just funny. And a reminder that Bristol is an alternative and imaginative place, not a rat race.

Parks & Nature

Take a walk along the River Avon through Conham River Park on the Bristol side. Take the short ferry across the water to Beese's tea garden, on the Bath and North East Somerset side! Have a lovely summery drink and read the paper :)

Arts & Culture

It's far better than a museum, it's a living and breathing testament to Bristol's sea-faring past...and present. Our best tourist attraction, you will love this!

Shopping

It is an Aladdin's Cave in there! A little shop that requires a guide for you to find anything, but they stock just about any useful item you may need.

Essentials

Bristol's best independent grocery store, founded by refugees way back in the day, and still going strong. It has a deli, a wide range of Asian and British foods, and you can pay in Bristol Pounds, the city's local currency.
