The best time to visit is early in the morning or late afternoon, the temperatures can get really high and you won´t enjoy it that much. Nice view of the lagoon and hotel zone from downtown.

Island and lots of sun and beaches. 20 mins away from Cancun, get the ferry in Puerto Juarez if staying in downtown, come back until midnight.
Enjoy the SUNSET is amazing here.
Rent a golf car or a scooter and go around the Island.
Eat a ceviche and enjoy!
