The pantry is great for an early breakfast/brunch option - they have the most amazing pancakes, waffles and eggs benedict!!! the food is incredible and reasonably well priced. Be warned though on a nice day you best get there early for a mimosa breakfast

The Dome previously used to be the first commercial bank of Scotland in 1847 but was reconverted in to a bar, restaurant of fine dining and for high teas. It is one of Edinburgh's most iconic places and is so spectacular at Christmas time...everyone should see it.

Bramble is one of Edinburghs most unknown cocktail bars. Many nights out start here with a basement vibe they normally have live dj's playing at the weekend which are insane and provide waiter service. Note it is a small bar but there is always a great vibe to be had at Bramble.

An easy to miss hot spot - Panda and Sons looks like an old vintage themed barber shop from the outside but not to be missed. They serve some of the nicest cocktails in Edinburgh as well as nibbles and food and a great backstory. I won't ruin the fun of going to panda and sons but you will be in for a treat.

They serve some of the nicest cocktails in Edinburgh as well as nibbles and food and a great backstory. I won't ruin the fun of going to panda and sons but you will be in for a treat.

During the winter season from October - January the Gardens host some winter themed evenings which are really popular with guests.

This is my favourite spot in Edinburgh where I usually spend my weekend mornings. Approx 45 mins walk from our flat the views that you get from the top of Arthurs Seat are like none other. There are various ways you can make the climb so it can be as easy or as difficult as possible or you can opt to walk around it. Usually to scale to the top this will take anything from 2 -5 hours from leaving our flat and back again.
Rangers will sometimes close the rocky paths off during winter months for safety but this will always be signposted advising climbers.

You won't find many quirky shops here as they all tend to be big brand names such as Topshop, Zara, House of Frasers, New Look, Urban Outfitters and Boots to name a few.
