Small kitchen store. Everything they carry is tops. My favorite are their knives - some made by a 100+ year old company from Massachusetts. Very high quality but not necessarily more expensive.

Food Scene

Very small Italian bistro - some of the best food in Saratoga Springs. Small menu, changes regularly, very good wine list.

The best Veranda in Saratoga. Overall good food, good cocktails and wine list. But even more fun to eat on their Veranda (3 season), overlooking Broadway. With heat lamps.

Music and the Arts

SPAC provides lots of fun from NY City Ballet , the Philadelphia Orchestra, James Taylor, and many more. You can walk or drive. And in downtown there are baby other venues for music, art, great food, shopping, kicking and more
There are so many wonderful restaurants, from high-end Fifteen Church, Rhea ( ramen), the Mouzon House that has indoor and outdoor service in the spring, summer, and fall. Katie’s Fryed Chicken is a wonder. Some of my favorites are Osteria Danny, Solevo Kichen, and Taverno Novo. Where ever you go in town you will find fun things to do during your trip. And we hope you’ll come back!

Finding a parking spot

Over the last few years the city has been working on getting more parking and are still planning more access. There is very little paid parking and the town being very walkable, you don’t have to drive if you don’t want to.

The Farmers Market.

I’ve been going to our farmers market for the last 12 years. They sell vegetables, drinks, flowers, yogurt, and many others grow in when a 25 mile range. They are friendly and their food is delicious.

Taking an easy walk about .2 miles away from the house.

It’s called the spring run. You don’t need to run. It is quite, you can hear lots of birds, and can just enjoy the sounds. It’s a fairly flat work - no big steps.
