Popular with locals year round, this place is perfect for families with younger children. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, huge choice of cakes, warm lunches and farm shop.
Kids can enjoy a large outdoor playground including swings, climbing frame, sandpit and mini ride on tractors (£1 per ride), long snake slide, zip wire and more.
We love to visit and frequently go strawberry picking in season.

An absolute favourite with our children (aged 2-8yrs). There are always well executed activities/trails during the school holidays. The cafe serves delicious home cooked food. They also do a lovely breakfast and you don't need to pay to visit the cafe.
It isn't cheap, so make sure you go for a full day and have time to see as much of the garden as possible.

A great day out, even if it's raining! The two huge biomes are undercover so rain won't spoil a visit. In fact it's perfect on a colder day as the tropical and Mediterranean biomes are temperature controlled and you will probably find yourself stripping off to a t-shirt!

Best spot for sundowners in Polzeath area. Indoor and outdoor seating, 20" sharing pizzas, freshly made pasta and a choice of tapas. The bar is run by Harbour Brewery, and although this place isn't cheap, the food and views are stunning.
Well worth a visit, even if just for a drink.
It books up early, but outdoor seating can't be booked so worth swinging by and taking a chance.
