Shopping

Patpong's become one of the 'must' night shopping destinations for avid shoppers. Found in the built-up area known as Silom, the place is always busy and chaotic with all the commotion from the Go-Go bars nearby and lots of foreign tourists. This market in Bangkok's notorious nightlife district is often the first and easiest stop for many tourists just arriving to Bangkok, whilst lodging at one of several mid-to-upper-end hotels in Silom. Be warned though, the quality and prices of most items sold are about as real and trustworthy as the girls shaking their wares in go-go bars flanking the area.

Although there are plenty restaurants and nightlife along Silom Road, one Thai staple that was missing was a shopping mall. only metres away from the BTS at Sala Daeng provides an air-conditioned space in which to shop, grab a bite to eat and escape from the hustle and bustle of the street outside. There is plenty of open space at Silom Complex, with wide walkways with bright white walls and a variety of stores that offer fun, affordable fashion rather than designer goods. Well-known brands , Keen shoppers will find an interesting selection of boutiques to explore and there are also plenty of quirky accessory.

Parks & Nature

Lumpini Park is an inner-city haven of tranquility, fresh air and shade - offering city dwellers the perfect connection to nature. Named after the birthplace of the Lord Buddha in Nepal, the park is more than half a million square metres big, and the habitat of various flora and fauna. Lumpini Park appeals to people of all ages today, from wise elders practicing tai chi, sweethearts lounging by the lakeside, to nine-to-five workers craving fresh air and physical exercise - and every other shade in between. The park is home to ever rarer indigenous flora, a forest park, and some quirky residents like the water monitor lizards... Looming beyond the immediate green, glimmering city skyscraper

Food Scene

Walking distance from our place, Super close ! With nearly half a decade of experience behind them, this slowly-expanding franchise specialises in one thing and one thing only: seafood. This Silom branch is located on the prominent Surawong Road, and a lot of the clientele are from the surrounding hotels or office workers grabbing something after work. We think the flavours here can often be hit and miss (of course, if you’re sitting on the beach in Phuket your fish is probably going to taste fresher), but Somboon’s signature yellow crab curry never disappoints. Opening Hours: 16:00 – 23:00 daily
