Centerville has a neat town square, which has the best coffee shop called The Local Place. A little further down Highway 100 you'll find our favorite Mexican Restaurant, plus a few unique family owned food joints.

There are 4 lakes at Williamsport Lakes. They have boat rentals, fishing licenses, bait, and even a lake specifically for young people under age 16. The place is beautiful here with a covered picnic table for a family picnic. It's a great place to explore even if you don't fish.

Blue Cat - 80 acres
Goldeneye - 13 acres
Shellcracker - 46 acres
The lakes are stocked with Largemouth bass - Florida bass - bluegill - redear sunfish - blue & channel catfish - Hybrid Striped bass. These lakes are managed for large bass, so appropriate weight tackle is advised. Bass are most active early and late during warm weather and will usually be found near cover. Bluegill can be taken on crickets and worms. Catfish can be taken on worms and liver. Small boats are available or plenty of docks.

These falls are so peaceful and serene. There are two different parking lots. One will give you a longer hike, while the other parking lot is close to the falls and has a restroom.

Natchez Trace Parkway goes on for miles and miles, but in Summertown, you can find a monument where Lewis was buried. There are also some great natural swimming holes to discover at Metal Ford on the Trace. Overall Natchez Trace is a great place for a drive and to stop at the different places to learn a little bit of history too.
