Each street has several bars and the entire 5 points area easily has over 15 bars all within walking distance of each other. At night this area is geared more towards college age-early 20's. This area also has some GREAT local restaurants and local shops. If you have never been to Columbia, this would be a must visit area.

The Vista is one of Columbia's most well known areas. It is predominantly known for its nightlife, but during the day it's a great place to go for the restaurants and the shopping. The bars in this area are geared more towards an age group ranging from late 20's and up. If you have never been to Columbia, this area is a must visit.

Edventure is rated in Trip Advisor's top 10 things to do in Columbia. This is a MUST if you are traveling with children! I would suggest visiting it even if you don't have children. I have been several times on field trips with my students and it is entertaining even for adults. It does cost money, but it is worth every penny just to be able to walk around and look at everything.

Getting Around
If you are looking to rent a car, I highly suggest Enterprise. I have rented from them before and I was very pleased. There is one located right down the road from the house and are very helpful at this location. I have personally rented a car from this location and I was very pleased.
