Season starts in September with sales of hard ciders and apple wines, jams, jellies, local honey, maple syrup, fudge, and what many people call “The best sweet cider on Earth!” Also available in the Fall are apples, apple pies, pumpkin bread, gourds, Indian corn, pumpkins, candy apples, kettle corn and apple cider donuts.

The Mystic River Park sits just southeast of the Bascule Bridge and has a green and boardwalk for sitting and fishing. Concerts in the park are scheduled in the summer.

DPNC, located on the Denison Homestead, is a wildlife sanctuary with over 8 miles of hiking trails, a natural history museum and an educational facility. They have a nature preschool and a nature center store. Open year round, 7 days a week. DPNC is heavily involved with preservation and maintenance of land throughout the area.
