Our favorite lake to visit. It offers several trails that are great to hike around the lake. If hiking is not your thing the also have kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and several docks for fishing. The public beaches are wonderful. If you are a rock climber, Devil's lake is one of the premier climbing locations with plenty of outfitters.

For the naturalist you can't beat the Leopold Center. Located just down the driveway, make a left and look for it on the right. The center boast various ecological views, conservation lectures, and wildlife viewing.

This cave is well worth the hour drive. The tour last about an hour and is a great escape from the heat or the cold. The views are breath taking, and the guides always give a great tour.

In the winter they have excellent cross country skiing and snow shoeing This quiet place is often a nice break from the bustle of the Dells.

In the winter they have excellent cross country skiing and snow shoeing This quiet place is often a nice break from the bustle of the Dells.
Also located near the dells, Lake Delton boasts excellent fishing, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. Highly recommend this place for the beaches and for picnics. You pass the lake when taking HWY A into the Dells.

If you have never take a duck tour we highly recommend one; it’s a great way to see the beauty of the dells from both land and water. This tour has something for the whole family. Tours are offered by The Dells Army Ducks, and the Original Wisconsin Ducks.

The Dells Boat tours are a great way to take in the natural scenery of the Dells. They offer a upper dells, lower dells, and jet boat tour. We recommend the upper dells tour since it has the best sights on both the water and the land. Although the lower dells has a lot to offer too. And for the Adrenaline junkies, the jet boat is always a blast!

The old 400 is an abandoned rail line that ran from Minneapolis to Chicago. In 1993 the line was converted to a multi use bike trail. This trail travels through some beautiful country and goes through several tunnels like the picture on the right. Bikes can be rented in Baraboo, and the trail starts in Reedsburg. In the winter months the Old 400 is open to snowmobiling, offing beautiful winter views on a level and traffic free route.
