If you like Indonesian food, this is great place to pick-up some. The portions are big, and some styles can be spicy, so ask for advice and you should be great! €

This is where we go with the kids for a drink and some horse-play! It's extremely laid back. And located in the Vondelpark and has a nice playground adjacent to it.

Sightseeing

This is our park! 8 minutes walk, inspirator of New York's Central Park. There's a Picasso artwork to be found in the center. Not many people know this. Apparently Picasso offered it to Amsterdam for free, if they wouldn't ever take it down. Voilá! The Vondelpark is a public urban park of 47 hectares (120 acres) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is part of the borough of Amsterdam-Zuid and situated west from the Leidseplein and the Museumplein. The park was opened in 1865 and originally named Nieuwe Park (English: New Park), but later renamed Vondelpark, after the 17th-century playwright and poet Joost van den Vondel. The park has around 10 million visitors annually. Within the park is an open-air theatre, a playground and several food service facilities.
