Pate's Ford Marina (PFM) is five minutes from our driveway. On the weekend it is "THE" happening place. The restaurant has good food and amazing frozen drinks (Strongly recommend the Bush Whackers & Miami Vices).
Also at Fishlipz on Friday and Saturday nights around 8:00 the entertainment begins. We are blessed that the owner of Tootsie's Orchard Lounge, Kid Rocks, The Diner, and Rippys downtown Nashville owns PFM and he brings in amazing entertainers from Nashville.
Also, it must be said, that you never know who you will see in the restaurant, as Country Music Entertainers have been known to drop in and hit the stage for impromptu singing.

Cookeville Boat Dock is a nice marina, it has a small restaurant, store, and gas. They are famous for their pies and their fried fish. Just know that you are not allowed to walk on the dock with an open container of alcohol.
