Uber is not always reliable in the area - especially for flights that arrive after 10pm, so plan ahead! Other options to check out if you're not renting a car are Whitefish Tours & Shuttle or Get A Cab MT Taxi & Shuttle Service. If you can get an Uber, my house is a $30-$40 ride from the Glacier Park International Airport (FCA). Sometimes, I am able to offer airport pick upon drop off to/from the airport for $25, but can not confirm until 1 week before. Availability would be based on my work schedule.

Summer in Montana is beautiful, but we can see drastic temperature swings. Summer days are hot, hot HOT! Be prepared with short sleeves, tank tops and shorts. Nights can still get chilly, so be sure to have pants and a sweatshirt. If you plan to hike in the mountains, always be prepared for anything. A puffy and waterproof layers are always in my bag, even in July and August.

For 2024, many entrances of the park require a vehicle reservation if you plan to drive your own vehicle into the park. Details can be found on the GNP website. If you missed the early purchase option, more go on sale at 7pm MST the day before you wish to enter. THEY SELL OUT QUICKLY. If you're online right on time and have good internet connection, you can *usually* get one, however it never hurts to have a Plan B. You can hop on a shuttle at Apgar, or some rentals & tours will give you access to areas of the park. Visit the Glacier National Park website or reach out for details!
