Sightseeing
Roughly a half hour drive from
the cottage, Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre is a favourite of ours! We take our children here often, they really encourage you to interact with the animals, some of them wander around freely! You can buy food to feed the animals and can go inside the goat enclosures to interact closely with them. It’s a great experience! You can take a picnic with you, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Or you can buy food and drinks from the on site cafe.

Owl garden - View our extensive selection of owls from all over the world in our peaceful garden setting.
Animal Display field - A place to explore and interact with a superb collection of friendly and rare animals including miniature horses, donkeys, pygmy goats, pigs and the smallest sheep breed in the world.
Small Animal House - See guinea pigs, rabbits, the Aviary corner with an extensive collection of finches and canaries.
Waterfowl Enclosure - Come and see our hoard of ducks, geese, and swans from a raised pond boardwalk which continues through our landscaped enclosure.

A little further afield (50 minute drive), but worth the trip, is West Midland Safari Park.
Home to some of the world’s most beautiful and critically endangered exotic animal species, there’s plenty to see on the drive through safari trail and on foot!
There is also an adventure theme park, with rides for all ages.

Spring GroveA little further afield (50 minute drive), but worth the trip, is West Midland Safari Park.
Home to some of the world’s most beautiful and critically endangered exotic animal species, there’s plenty to see on the drive through safari trail and on foot!
There is also an adventure theme park, with rides for all ages.
This is one of our personal favourite family trips!
Play Planet is made up of two activities. Firstly, there is a large soft play area and cafe downstairs. And secondly, upstairs is Tiny Town, a role play village, which young children absolutely love!
We are the biggest indoor children’s soft play centre in Herefordshire where children can play in a safe and secure environment.
Come and play on our purpose built, recently refurbished play frame. We have something for everyone, with separate play areas for Under 2’s, Under4’s and 4-12 year olds.
Our air conditioned play centre has a huge amount of fun to keep children entertained for hours.
"Tiny Town" is a mini city where children are free to explore their imagination within a purpose built area that is safe and secure. We have a purpose built street that has everything from a doctors, hairdressers, cafe, shop, builders site, a nursery and the village green. Each unit has been built with children in mind and enables children to use their imagination and let it run wild.
Our play makers are on hand to support play and help the children get the most out of this experience
